The Sandy Paws team proudly provides professional pet sitting services in YOUR home when you can’t be there. We truly love ‘em like our own! Our service area covers most of Lawrenceville, the Collins Hill area, and some parts of Suwanee. Below you will find a sampling of what an average visit includes.

Initial “Get Acquainted” visit – FREE

The Sandy Paws team will come and meet you and your furry family. You get to show us all the necessary routines that will insure we do a wonderful job for you and your babies.

  • We’ll come by and meet the fabulous pet family (and of course their people too.)
  • You’ll show us the lay of the land so to speak - where all of their things are.
  • You’ll familiarize us with all the routines: feeding, medicines, supplements, walks, favorite things, not so favorite things, behaviors, etc.
  • We’ll pick up 2 sets of keys to the house & the completed paperwork.
  • We’ll give lots of lovin’ & belly rubbin’!
  • This visit usually last about 30 minutes to an hour – whatever it takes!

Vacation/Business Travel – starting at $17.00 per visit

How wonderful for your furry family to get to stay home-sweet-home while you’re traveling! Though they will certainly miss their people, most animals are less stressed at home than at a boarding facility. The number of visits needed per day is determined upon the type of pet you have--but all pets need at least one daily visit.

  • Plenty of lovin’ & belly rubbin’
  • Bathroom breaks
  • Walks (Not just for dogs, some cats like to walk, too!)
  • Playtime & exercise
  • Fresh water & food / Clean bowls
  • Litter box maintenance (stinky job but somebody’s got to do it!)
  • Pooper scooper (you know the story here, too!)
  • Clean up accidents, if necessary
  • Light grooming for willing participants
  • Administer medicines, insulin injections, supplements, etc.
  • Water plants
  • Bring in mail / newspaper / packages
  • Take out/ bring in: trash / recycling receptacles
  • Rotate lights / blinds
  • Turn off/on TV & radio
  • An average visit lasts about 30 minutes.
  • Treats, lovin,’ & belly rubbin’! (Oops! Already said that.)

Mid-day dog walks – starting at $17.00 per visit

We know you are busy! Long hours working and commuting take you away from your furry friends. You can reduce your fur-babies separation anxiety or boredom with a mid-day visit. Less stress on you and your best friends!

  • Plenty of lovin’ & belly rubbin’!
  • Dogs love to walk & so do we!
  • Playtime
  • Clean bowls, refresh water, and feed
  • Administer medications & supplements
  • Bring in mail, newspaper, & packages
  • Bring in the trash can
  • Rotate lights
  • Depending on the weather, the average walk is about 20 minutes; the average visit is about 30 minutes in total.

Overnight pet sitting – starting at $70.00

Yes! We can come and spend the night with your babies while you’re away! Yes, we will sleep in the bed with your fur-babies! We offer a 12 hour visit and a 7 to 8 hour visit overnight. This service must be booked well in advance. Call Sandy Paws at (770) 963-1414 for details.

Emergency Visits

We are not an on-call service; however, many times in a true emergency we are able to come the same day requested. We can not guarantee this service though, so please make plans to have a trusted friend or family member care for your pets on such short notice. Also, please be aware that if we do not have a paperwork from you on file, we will need to have permission paperwork signed as soon as possible by you or someone you trust.

There is an additional flat fee of $10.00 on the following Holidays:
